The Agricultural Law Department, and the work involved is undertaken by and large by Matt Chalfont-Griffin and Caroline Jones. We offer advice on farm sales and acquisitions, tenancies and the transfer and acquisition of quotas, either as part of the disposal of farms and farmlands or independently.
In recent years the presence on farmland of telecommunications masts, fibre optic cables and the like has meant we have been actively involved ourselves in negotiations with operators, in conjunction with local agricultural surveyors, on behalf of farmers and landowners.
