PLANNING LAW
The planning system plays an important role in helping protect the environment in our towns and cities and in the countryside. Most new buildings or major changes to existing buildings or to the local environment need consent via applications to the local Council to obtain permission.
Robert Walton of our Street office specialises in all aspects of planning law upon which we are instructed. This includes assisting with planning queries, applications and in particular, objecting to planning applications on behalf of clients. He is well versed in the requirements of obtaining planning permissions especially with regard to residential development and extensions/alterations.
