Whilst this firm tends not to get involved with the registration with CQC, it is important as part of the sale or purchase of a residential care home, that contractual provisions are put in place to make the transaction conditional upon either the client or the buyer satisfying CQC requirements and obtaining the appropriate registration to run the care home going forward. Without it, the process would be somewhat pointless.
