Michael qualified as a solicitor in London before moving to Somerset in 1974, taking up a position with a firm in Glastonbury. Michael initially practiced in general non-contentious areas of the law, but latterly developed a speciality in commercial property and in particular development work acting primarily for major regional and national house builders for most of his working career.
Having retired from practising as a solicitor, Michael is now a consultant with Chubb Bulleid and continues his work as a Notary Public. Michael enjoys over thirty years experience in this area of the law and can assist with the full range of notarial services for private and commercial clients.
An active member of his village and the wider community, Michael is well known in the area. For many years he was an organiser of the annual Glastonbury Road Runs and, with other residents of his village, now arranges the slightly less physically demanding (and more cider orientated) “Three Peaks Challenge”. A father of two and grandfather of three who all live in Street, Michael is kept busy (and young!!) with extensive babysitting and dog walking duties.
