Sandra Moores
PRIVATE CLIENT EXECUTIVE (ACILEX)

I am an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives and I am based at the Wells office of Chubb Bulleid. I grew up in Wells and I have worked locally in private practice since 1980.  I joined Chubb Bulleid in 2015 following the merger with another firm of solicitors in Wells, T.G. Pollard & Co.

I am a manager within the private client department and I handle all aspects of probate and the administration of estates, Wills, and Powers of Attorney. In the course of my work, I am happy to make home visits to clients who may find it difficult to call into the office, whether that be their own home, hospital or care home.  The nature of my work means that I am often dealing with families at what can be a very difficult time.  It is important to me that clients feel they have my support and understanding.

I have two grown up sons and still live locally to the office. I enjoy music, film, reading, swimming and travel.  I am also a member of The National Trust and a supporter of the RSPCA.

My Favourites

Dogs or cats – Dogs. I guess it’s the unconditional love they show you.  They are able to cheer you up, no matter how down you may feel.

Films – I love films and I have a top ten list of favourites but if I had to choose one, it would be Interstellar. The ideas within the film came from astro-physicists so the science is real. Seen in the cinema, the journey you are taken on is epic!

Cars – A new MX5. I had to say goodbye to my elderly MX5 and would love a new one!  They are great fun to drive.

Books – I am always reading, and thrillers are my thing. I am a huge fan of Lee Child’s Jack Reacher books and Peter James’ Roy Grace novels.
