Prenuptial Agreement

No-one likes to think that their marriage/relationship might end in failure but sadly many do.

A Pre-Nuptial Agreement is a common sense step you should take to protect your personal and business assets should your relationship come to an end.  Chubb Bulleid draft individually tailored Pre-Nuptial/Pre-Marital Agreements for our clients who are about to either marry for the first time, or marry again.

When entering into a Pre-Nuptial Agreement it is very important that both parties take independent legal advice before an agreement is signed.  The agreement should be signed at least 21 days before the wedding takes place.

Within the Pre-Nuptial Agreement there must be a full and fair disclosure of both parties financial assets and we must plan for not only your future together, but for existing children and any further children the marriage may produce.  Pre-Nuptial/Pre-Marital Agreements are now legally binding.
