Richard Cussell heads this Department, which has significant expertise in the area of Will making. We can ensure Wills are completed to simplify matters for succession, and minimise Inheritance Tax wherever possible.
The department can also give advice on lifetime tax planning and asset protection through trusts.
We deal with all aspects of probate and administration of estates, large and small, whether assisting the personal representatives to fulfil their duties or undertaking those duties ourselves as professionally appointed executors.
We also offer advice on Advance Decisions (Living Wills) which enable you to refuse treatment, including life sustaining treatment, in specified circumstances and for which there are now new statutory provisions whether they are made separately or included in a Lasting Power of Attorney.
