AGRICULTURE AND RURAL AFFAIRS LAWYER
PURPOSE: To provide expert legal support in agriculture and rural affairs, managing a diverse caseload of property and agricultural matters while delivering exceptional client service and building long-term relationships within a collaborative and supportive team environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Advising clients on agriculture and rural affairs, including land, tenancy, and succession matters.
- Managing property transactions for agricultural and rural clients, ensuring due diligence in all areas.
- Drafting and negotiating contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Providing guidance on regulatory, planning, and compliance issues affecting rural properties.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships through excellent service.
- Collaborating with colleagues across practice areas to deliver comprehensive legal advice.
- Keeping up to date with changes in agriculture, rural law, and property legislation.
- Undertaking any research necessary to give correct advice.
- Achieving time and billing targets.
- Managing a varied caseload whilst being flexible to changing demands.
- Ensuring client matters are progressed in an effective way and files are kept in good order.
Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years’ PQE.
