RESIDENTIAL CONVEYANCER
LOCATION: This role can be based at one of our offices in Wells, Street or Taunton
PURPOSE: To deliver residential conveyancing services on behalf of our clients, including new builds, shared ownership, and equity release, while ensuring every property transaction is handled efficiently and effectively.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Undertaking all aspects of setting up leasehold developments and complex residential conveyancing.
- Ensuring due diligence in all areas of processing residential property transactions.
- Demonstrating up-to-date practical knowledge of the law relating to all aspects of residential property transactions, including leaseholds, freeholds, registered and unregistered properties, and transactions such as sales, purchases, remortgages, new builds, right to buy, help to buy, shared ownership, lease extensions, deeds of variation, and other schemes.
- Undertaking any necessary research to provide accurate legal advice.
- Maintaining the highest level of client service to all parties.
- Achieving time and billing targets.
- Managing a varied caseload while being flexible to changing demands.
- Ensuring client matters are progressed effectively and files are kept in good order.
- Establishing strong working relationships with colleagues and assisting with department workflow as required.
- Working collaboratively as part of a team on other client projects.
- Building client relationships by promoting the firm’s ethos of exceptional client care.
