22nd Moonwalk in London
On Saturday 11th May five ladies from the Wells area including our own Zoe Guise took part in the 22nd Moonwalk in London for Breast Cancer charities. It involved walking 26.2 miles in their bras/fancy dress starting and finishing at Clapham Common. Although they had trained hard, working their way up to 26 miles before the event, it was still a very difficult task especially as they had to walk through the night with no sleep! They started the Moonwalk at 10.40pm and finished around 9 hour’s later. They raised over £2,000 in sponsorship which included a bag pack in Morrisons, coffee mornings/cake sales and private donations. They would like to thank everyone for their kind support.
