Claire Tofts

I am an experienced commercial property solicitor dealing with a wide variety of commercial property transactions. I have a particular emphasis on acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant matters, financing/refinancing and the property aspects of business sales and purchases.

I qualified as a solicitor in 2002 and my experience includes acting for individuals, companies, banks, investors and pension funds. I enjoy building relationships with clients and providing clear, pragmatic and commercial legal advice.

I joined Chubb Bulleid based in the Street office in January 2021 having previously worked at Ashfords and Clarke Willmott.

I have lived in Somerset for 20 years and love being here, so I hope that I am now well on my way to being classed as a local. I am married with two sons and outside of work I enjoy walking the dog (a hairy lurcher), travel and trying not to spend a fortune propping up my heap of a campervan.
