Diane Pearce

I am an experienced and forward thinking corporate and commercial lawyer with more than twenty years of practice in the legal profession. My passion for business underpins the work I do, advising all types of organisations across a wide spectrum of commercial matters including contract law, data protection, employment, technology, intellectual property and general corporate work.

I support a diverse range of clients—from SMEs to larger limited companies, partnerships and LLPs—providing practical, commercially focused advice tailored to their needs. Drawing on my background as a commercial disputes lawyer, I help clients anticipate and navigate potential challenges before they arise. My work includes advising on share sales, asset transactions, shareholder agreements, acquisitions and share buybacks.
I also have specialist experience in working with prize competition businesses, helping them maintain compliance in a constantly evolving legal and regulatory environment. I regularly draft terms and conditions for businesses and key policies.

After building my career at respected regional law firms in Southampton and Bournemouth, I now work closer to home, where I have lived for the past five years.
Somerset has become a wonderful home for my family. When I’m not balancing work with life as a mum of three, you’ll often find me playing netball across the region or watching football in one of its many forms.

• Favourite film: Top Gun—and the sequel, which took its time arriving but exceeded all my expectations.
• Favourite book: Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë—a classic that still inspires me and remains remarkable for what it achieved when it was first written.
• Favourite holiday destination: I love travelling and having lived in Europe, this has opened my eyes to different cultures. My favourite holiday destination will always be anywhere in the mountains where you can ski and have fun in the snow!
