Katie Goodyer

I am a Paralegal working in our commercial property team with 4 years’ experience in dealing with Real Estate Matters. On a day to day basis I deal with option agreements, infrastructure agreements and promotion agreements as well as buying, selling and letting commercial property. I also have experience dealing with real estate finance as well as auction sales and purchases. Prior to working in commercial property, I worked in the new homes team at a Taunton-based law firm, working with a vast variety of developers and social housing providers.

Alongside my work I am studying with CILEX to become a Charted Lawyer. I have completed the foundation course and obtained a diploma in law which has been a great motivation to carry on with my studies. I am also an ambassador for the Ladies of Law, an organisation created to empower women working or studying in law.

I have lived in Somerset all my life and have no plans to change that as I love the area. I like to keep pretty active and enjoy going to the gym and playing tennis.

In my spare time I love to curl up with a good book or binge watch a tv series.
