Subject: PROMISEworks and Chubb Bulleid

Dear Richard

Following our telephone conversation this morning I am writing to thank you, your partners and staff for your generous donation of £451.65 to PROMISEworks – a wonderful fillip to morale at Christmas time.

As mentioned, we now have 60 children and young people on the edge of care, or who have just left care, “on our books” with matched mentors. This achievement is from a standing start in April 2017. We now have a significant number of requests for mentors which we cannot satisfy due to a combination of funding requirements and the speed at which we can train mentors.

In respect of the latter point, could I ask one more favour of you. Please could you circulate your staff to see if any would consider training to become a mentor. You can direct those interested to http://promiseworks.org.uk/?page_id=314 for further information.
