Abby Hewitt

I am a Residential Conveyancing Executive in the Wells office.

I have a Theology and Philosophy degree from Exeter University, but realized shortly after graduating that I wanted to be a Conveyancer. I finished my CILEX exams in June 2023 after 4 years of studying alongside work, so I am now a Member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.

I enjoy the varied work in Conveyancing and helping clients through an often stressful time. I think that I am approachable and am able to translate complicated legal jargon into plain English! I try to always be proactive and keep everyone updated as much as possible.

I met my husband in Exeter while at university, and we now live in Wells with our lovely Labrador, Lulu. We spend our free time going for walks (often with a pub stop) and we like to travel as much as possible; we have toured on a Triumph Bonneville bike (with all camping equipment for 3 weeks!), in two VW campervans, and we now have an Eriba Caravan. We especially love France but have been everywhere between the Netherlands and Italy! I also enjoy sewing clothes for myself and for friends and family, and doing anything crafty with my mum and my sister
