I qualified as a solicitor in September 2013. Following a degree in Ancient History from the University of Exeter, I completed the Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Guildford.

I completed my training contract at Blake Lapthorn (now Blake Morgan) and worked at different firms before joining Chubb Bulleid in May 2018.

I am an experienced private client solicitor. In that capacity I handle advise in all aspects of private client work including Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Probate and estate administration including Deeds of Variation, Trusts and Trust Administration and Tax and Estate Planning.

I also have experience of dealing with Court of Protection work including day-to-day management, annual reporting, and applications for Deputyship and statutory wills.

I am a ‘second career’ solicitor having previously had a successful career as a Civil Servant.

I have a daughter, two horses, two dogs, two guinea pigs, a rabbit and a cat. The cat is in charge.

My Favourites.

Beach or countryside – Countryside. I’m a country girl.

Sherlock or Midsomer Murders – Sherlock. Not just because of Benedict Cumberbatch (although mainly because of Benedict Cumberbatch).

Favourite Season – Spring. Flowers. Baby animals. Longer evenings to hack out with my daughter on our horses.

Dream car – Landrover Defender. I judge the quality of cars by how many bales of hay you can comfortably fit in the back alongside a couple of wet dogs. The brochures never adequately cover this!

Pub v Restaurant – Pub. Preferably with a lovely big fire.

Walk v Run – Horse power wherever possible! I don’t run (notwithstanding being chased by a ravenous pack of wolves).
