Laura works within the firms Commercial Property and Agricultural department and deals with Commercial Leases and Property, Agricultural Property and Agricultural Law.
Having come from a farming background, Laura understands rural matters which assist her when acting for landowners and farmers alike. Laura deals with a number of varied agricultural matters including simple transactions such as the sale or purchase of small pony paddocks or re-mortgaging rural property, right through to the transfers of full working farms.
As well as dealing with agricultural property matters, Laura works for a number of local businesses, big and small, and deals with commercial high street transactions including property sales and purchases along with Landlord and Tenant work. Laura also enjoys acting for parties selling or purchasing small businesses as transfers of going concerns, including hair salons, licensed premises, and cafes.
Laura graduated from the University of Reading before completing her legal education with the College of Law, Guildford. Laura then spent three years working for law firms in London before regaining her senses and returning to Somerset in 2010 where she began her training contract with Chubb Bulleid. Laura qualified as a solicitor in 2012, before being made a Director in 2016.
Away from the office, Laura enjoys travelling, reading and spending time with friends and family accompanied with a decent bottle of red!
